GC Angels supports small and medium-sized enterprises by raising early-stage scale-up capital ranging from £25k to £2m through a network of angel investors, institutional capital partners, and in-house co-investment funds.
The pre-seed investment was completed across two tranches to support the scale of the company's bootcamp model.

The funding round was led by GC Angels alongside private angel backers to develop home learning applications.

The early seed round was led by Fair By Design with participation from GC Angels and Ascension Ventures.
"On top of the obvious grief and shock, I discovered that the end-of-life industry was expensive and difficult to navigate, especially in an intensely emotional time. The industry had been largely untouched by technological innovation and needed to rapidly modernise."
GC Angels led the pre-seed round to help develop the company software offering and expand the team.
"Remote working has boomed during COVID-19. We’re excited to help newly remote workers to discover their core values and work more productively with their teammates. By enabling us to recruit a new senior developer. And appoint Jess Jackson to our board. This investment will also strengthen the diversity of our already inclusive team. As we look to scale up in the UK and beyond."
The Manchester-based cyber education institute raised the pre-seed round from a syndicate of investors and government schemes to scale its operations.
"At a time when the value of tech degrees is in decline, there is an urgent need for disruption in cyber-security education. At CAPSLOCK, we’re determined to drive this disruption. By unlocking the potential of adults in the UK, and eliminating the financial barriers to reskilling, we’re changing the face of cyber-security and making it more accessible to people of all backgrounds."
The Manchester based digital franchise network raised the capital from GC Angels and private backers.
"Too much time in mortgage advising is taken up by bureaucratic procedures – we wanted to build a digital platform that would remove this burden from advisers, allowing them to focus on all-important client relationships. However, we needed to build something that was flexible enough to fit the incredibly varied mortgage advisory process."
The investment from GC Angels and Admitad will fund team expansion and international growth.

The funding round was led by GC Angels alongside the Greater Manchester Combined Authority and private angels to support team expansion.

The seed round was backed by GC Angels and an angel investor to fund team expansion and product development.

The pre-seed round was backed by GC Angels to support product development and user acquisition.

GC Angels led the pre-seed round with backing from angel investor David Goadby to support platform expansion.

Praetura Ventures led the seed round with participation from GC Angels to accelerate product development and market expansion.
