Gaia Learning secures £400k seed investment from GC Angels, NESTA and angel investors to expand operations.
The funding will support the edtech company as it scales its specialist online provision and rolls out its Bloom platform.
Gaia Learning provides a specialist online alternative provision for neurodivergent children and young people across the UK. The platform also offers Bloom, a SEND infrastructure platform designed to help schools deliver and track support.
North West edtech company Gaia Learning has secured £400k in seed investment from GC Angels, NESTA and a syndicate of angel investors. The funding follows a previous £550k round raised in 2024 and comes as the business scales its operations.
Founded in 2019, the firm provides specialist online alternative provision for neurodivergent children and young people unable to access mainstream education due to autism, ADHD, anxiety or other additional needs. The fresh capital will support the company as it rolls out Bloom, a new SEND infrastructure platform designed to help schools coordinate and evidence support for pupils.
Over recent years, Gaia Learning has grown its team to 24 people and established partnerships with organisations including Pearson Edexcel. The latest injection of capital will enable the business to expand its reach and bring its inclusive educational technology to more schools.
