Manchester-based artificial intelligence startup Brarista has secured £510k in pre-seed funding. The investment was led by GC Angels, with participation from Innovate UK and private backers.
The capital will be directed towards team expansion, platform development, and growing retail partnerships. Brarista plans to broaden its product range to include maternity wear, swimwear, and post-surgery lingerie.
Founded in 2019, the company uses machine learning and vision technology to deliver tailored lingerie size recommendations. The platform aims to reduce high return rates and retail waste.
