Manchester based health and sports technology startup Prorizon has secured £400k in pre-seed funding. The round was led by GC Angels, with participation from Innovate UK and various angel investors, to support platform enhancements and commercialisation.
The capital will enable the business to integrate advanced artificial intelligence capabilities into its application, facilitating preventative and personalised interventions for physical and psychological stress. Prorizon intends to deploy the proceeds towards team expansion and product development as it targets growth across high performance environments such as sport and education.
Operating in demanding sectors, the platform combines physical metrics with psychosocial well-being indicators to mitigate burnout and optimize resilience. The fresh backing allows the firm to scale its operations while pursuing wider market penetration, including professional sports and collegiate athletics.
