Smartfin has led a £10m Series A round in Incard to support international expansion and product development.
"As entrepreneurs we noticed there was a clear mismatch between how digital businesses actually operate and the financial tools that were available to them. Every industry has unique financial workflows and they need a system that understands how they operate – one that centralises finance, provides spend insights, tracks real-time cash flow, and includes industry-specific add-ons. They need to have visibility of all of that, in a single place."
The round was led by TriplePoint Ventures to accelerate hiring, product development, and bank integrations.
"FALKIN’s vision to make proactive safety universal has the potential to redefine digital trust. We’re proud to back the team as they work to embed digital safety at the heart of modern finance."
Puma Growth Partners led the Series A financing with backing from several returning investors and angels.
"We couldn't be happier to be partnering with Puma on this opportunity. We have the team, the tech, the market size and therefore the opportunity to build a $bn business helping brands launch and scale in the world's largest ecommerce market. We needed an investor who matched YASO's ambitions, and we have found that in Puma. We are also delighted with the other co-investors, including the Seed investors, both VCs and Angels, who have been there since day 1, who backed us again in this round. We can't wait to take YASO to the next level!"
The seed round was led by Coterie Holdings and included participation from angels and existing backers SFC Capital and Founders Capital.
"The fine wine investment space has historically been split between wine merchants that are set up to facilitate drinking and collecting rather than investing, and bespoke investment businesses that often operate like merchants with added management fees. We created WineFi to serve investors who view wine primarily through an investment lens, offering them diversified, cost-efficient exposure to a fascinating asset class that has historically remained off-limits to all but specialists. While many of our investors are also wine enthusiasts, WineFi seeks to bridge the cap between the two."
The London based fashion search platform raised the capital from angel investors connected to Boardwave, Founders Capital, and the WITSEND community.
"The challenge consumers face today is that search engines will always prioritise their business models of paid for advertising, rather than delivering relevant results."
