Falkin secures £1.5m in pre-seed funding led by TriplePoint Ventures to expand its AI fraud prevention platform.

The round was led by TriplePoint Ventures to accelerate hiring, product development, and bank integrations.
Falkin builds AI-powered digital safety tools that integrate directly into banking platforms to prevent fraud before payments occur. The company operates across the UK and the US, providing proactive protection against scams and deceptive communications.
Falkin has raised £1.5m in a pre-seed funding round led by TriplePoint Ventures. The financing also drew participation from Notion Capital, BackFuture Ventures, Aviva and Founders Factory, Haatch, Found Capital, and Founders Capital, alongside several prominent fintech and cyber sector figures.
The capital will be deployed to accelerate hiring, advance product development, and expand integrations with financial institutions. Additionally, the funds will support the launch of Safety Labs, a programme designed to help community banks and credit unions easily implement customer-facing fraud prevention tools.
The raise comes as financial institutions face mounting regulatory and consumer pressure to adopt proactive scam prevention measures amid the growth of AI-driven fraud. Falkin's technology analyses manipulation and deception across various communication channels, embedding safety layers directly into digital banking environments.
From the founder
"Protection has to move earlier, to the moment before someone clicks, replies, or transfers. We’re turning AI from a weapon of deception into a tool for defense."
