BGF is one of the largest and most experienced growth capital investors operating across the UK and Ireland.

The funding round was led by Volta Energy Technologies with backing from CBMM, BGF, and Cambridge Enterprise Ventures.

The capital will support international expansion and recruitment as demand grows for the company grid stability technology.

The investment from BGF will support product development and team expansion at the human risk management platform.

The funding follows backing from six investors, led by a £10.5m injection from the Scottish National Investment Bank.

This additional funding will support our goal to push on into an operational launch phase, and scale our business when the time comes."
