PureCyber secures £5m from BGF to expand its cyber security services
PureCyber provides outsourced cyber security solutions and acts as an external security team for organisations across various sectors. The company delivers a subscription suite that includes brand protection, penetration testing and managed security operations.
PureCyber has secured £5m in funding from growth capital investor BGF to support its expansion across domestic and international markets. The Cardiff-based cybersecurity consultancy provides outsourced protection services to small and medium-sized enterprises as well as larger global clients.
The capital will assist the firm in scaling its client base and increasing its market share within both the SME and enterprise sectors. Alongside the investment, former tech chief executive Ben Marnham has joined the business as non-executive chair.
BGF led the transaction through members of its Wales and South West team. The investment adds to the firm's portfolio of technology companies operating across the region.
