Boxphish has raised £3.3m in investment from BGF to support its growth strategy and accelerate development across product, people, and partners. The Leeds-based human risk management platform provides cyber security training and phishing simulations to organisations across multiple sectors.
The capital injection follows a period of rapid scaling for the business, which counts clients such as the University of Cambridge and Leeds United FC among its customer base. As part of the transaction, Rob Johnson from BGF has joined the company board.
Alongside the funding, Andy Dancer has been appointed as Non-Executive Chair to help guide the management team. The business plans to use the resources to strengthen its market position in the human risk management sector.
