Fly Ventures led the pre-seed round, which will fund product depth and pilot launches.

General Catalyst led the equity portion of the £69m investment, which also features a debt facility from Trinity Capital.

Chalfen Ventures and Begin Capital join existing backers to support the rollout of SurrealDB 3.0.

The seed round was led by Tensor Ventures to accelerate platform capabilities and go-to-market efforts.

The financing round was led by Insight Partners with participation from a16z Speedrun, Atomico, Begin Capital, and Zero Prime.
