"Waste has been recognised as the fourth biggest contributor to climate change, yet the data surrounding it has been sparse at best. This is a huge missed opportunity. We are putting a monetary value on waste – something that is perceived to have a negative value. Providing access to granular waste data can also have a big impact at a macro level, helping to shape government policies around recycling and influencing the decisions producers make about their packaging."
The Series A round was led by Monomyth Group and brings total funding to £70m.
"The significant growth in our customer numbers over the past six months highlights just how many people in the UK are in need of additional financial support."

"This latest Series A funding round comes at an exciting time, we’re growing very quickly which has been attractive to both existing and new investors."

"It was critical for Lyphe to raise enough funds to execute on our scale-up plans and be in control of our destiny. We are fortunate to be leaders in our primary market with a very clear growth plan, and as such we have attracted the very best investors into this round from US, Europe and UK. Leafy Tunnel sees us step into venture capital, and we are honoured to have them on the cap table and supporting our vision for international growth, alongside Sharp Capital and all other new and old shareholders."
The financing round was backed by ACF Investors, o2h Ventures, Jonathan Milner, and R42 Group.
"This latest funding will enable us to build on and accelerate our successful computational design-led discovery focus. We are excited to be playing a pivotal role in the innovation of oncological treatments leading to better outcomes for cancer patients worldwide. Our groundbreaking new approach stands to be initially validated by the proof-of-concept studies. We are achieving rapid progress not only with our industry-leading drug discovery programme, but also our proprietary AI platform. This has led to increasing interest from third parties in our machine learning capabilities, so we are keen to capitalise on this demand and establish a commercial effort in this area"
