Equity Gap led the seed financing for the Edinburgh based manufacturer of custom fit respirators, with backing from Scottish Enterprise, Old College Capital, and Apollo Informal Investment.
"We realised that by combining modern 3D imaging with 3D-printed soft materials, we could create bespoke, perfectly fitted masks that conform to the unique contours of each face. In our first comparative trial, our masks proved more comfortable than standard disposable alternatives. Since then, we’ve refined our design dramatically yet we’ve remained true to our original mission: to create the most comfortable, personalised respiratory masks possible, suited for every face. We believe the days of painful, pressure-inducing masks are finally over."
The financing round was backed by existing major investors and new participant Trinity Capital.
"CMR is a competitive, well-established company with a transformative product providing clear clinical value. We are now at a pivotal stage, poised to capitalise on significant opportunities for market expansion, including in the U.S., while continuing to penetrate deeper into existing markets. I would like to give thanks to our CFO, Andre Nel, and the team for securing this financing to provide the foundation for realising our strategic vision of making robotic assisted surgery accessible to all patients who need it whilst accelerating future product development."
The Series C round was co-led by Parkwalk Advisors and the Boehringer Ingelheim Venture Fund to support international expansion and clinical studies.
"We would like to thank all the investors that participated, including Parkwalk and Boehringer Ingelheim Venture Fund for their continued support, and welcome Hostplus, all of whom recognise the transformative impact that our technology can have on treatment for stroke and lung fibrosis patients. We will continue to harness our position and experience as a European market leader to achieve broad success in the US, helping improve patient care and access to life-changing therapies."
The Series A round was led by IW Capital and will fund sales growth and product development.
"IW Capital are thrilled to announce our investment into Strolll. Strolll are transforming the physiotherapy and neurorehabilitation markets and have already helped a significant number of people with debilitating neurological disorders to live better lives. The potential impact of their software is huge and we’re proud to be backing this cutting-edge business as it addresses key healthcare needs."
Redalpine led the pre-seed round to help the startup bring its wearable hormone sensors to market and expand its team.
"We did it for blood pressure and will do it again for hormones. Continuous hormone measurement is one of the holy grails of diagnostics, and as fundamental science transitions to engineering, we couldn’t be more excited to back Level Zero Health in their mission to transform hormone tracking with their novel biosensor – paving the way for a new era of personalized health management."
