Level Zero Health raises £5.5m pre-seed funding from Redalpine to advance hormone monitoring technology.

Redalpine led the pre-seed round to help the startup bring its wearable hormone sensors to market and expand its team.
Level Zero Health is a biotechnology startup developing wearable DNA-based sensors for remote and continuous hormone monitoring. The company combines biochemistry and nanotechnology to track stress and reproductive hormones.
Level Zero Health has secured £5.5m in pre-seed funding led by Redalpine to develop its continuous hormone monitoring technology. Additional participants in the round included HAX and Entrepreneur First, alongside several industry experts.
The capital will be directed towards research and development, hiring talent in the UK and US, and bringing the company's DNA-based sensor product to market. The wearable patch detects hormone levels in interstitial fluid, offering an alternative to traditional laboratory blood tests for applications such as IVF and testosterone replacement therapy.
Investor perspective
"We did it for blood pressure and will do it again for hormones. Continuous hormone measurement is one of the holy grails of diagnostics, and as fundamental science transitions to engineering, we couldn’t be more excited to back Level Zero Health in their mission to transform hormone tracking with their novel biosensor – paving the way for a new era of personalized health management."
