Brainomix develops artificial intelligence imaging software designed to improve clinical diagnostics for strokes and lung fibrosis. The medtech firm emerged from academic research at the University of Oxford.
Brainomix has secured £14m in Series C funding to support the expansion of its artificial intelligence imaging technology into the United States. The investment will also drive the development of its stroke and lung fibrosis diagnostic solutions.
The financing round was co-led by existing backers Parkwalk Advisors and the Boehringer Ingelheim Venture Fund. They were joined by new investor Hostplus through the IP Group Hostplus Innovation Fund, alongside participation from LifeSci Capital.
The company plans to use the capital to scale operations at its Oxford headquarters, grow its international commercial team, and fund clinical validation studies. This latest injection brings the total capital raised by the firm to £44m.
