Par Equity led the £2.6m seed round to support product development and team expansion at Machines With Vision.
The seed financing was provided by angel investors to fund product development and team expansion.
"Versori is a really exciting group of technology solutions that address the increasing problems in their respective markets. We aim to build and provide mission-critical software and platforms to our customers. Switchboard changes the way any scale business integrates and manages business systems and workflows, while Koja tackles the huge problems that the payment industry faces with a fresh commerce first approach to financial transactions. We can’t wait to grow the business with our amazing founding team and customers who were lucky enough to get to the front of the waitlist!"
Octopus Ventures led the round as Contingent looks to scale its supply chain risk and transparency software.
"There is an ever-increasing amount of focus on risk management within supply chains and Contingent provides us with a platform to capture the key areas of risk. As we put more of a spotlight on ESG, the team at Contingent is continuously improving the platform, its features and coverage, which supports us as we continue to grow as a business,"
The financing round was co-led by Speedinvest and firstminute capital to help double the startup engineering team.
"In one case, a machine learning engineer used Tenyks to identify the root causes of 80% of their algorithm’s failures. These findings helped them deliver higher quality results to their customers because of the significantly improved system performance. Moreover, future new deployments can be onboarded in half the time because the engineers can now focus their efforts on alleviating the key bottlenecks,"
Octopus Ventures led the Series A round with participation from Warner Music, IDEO, 4 Good Ventures, and Metaplanet Holdings OÜ.
"Music isn’t just a luxury, it’s an essential part of life. Whether for sleep, mental wellbeing, exercise, or a much-needed adrenalin rush, music is there to soundtrack our lives. LifeScore wants to bring the composer into the action, using Augmented Intelligence to surprise and delight, rendering music reactive and dynamic in real-time. We are thrilled to have found such supportive partners in this investment round, and believe that this will enable us to bring an entirely new music platform to fruition whilst creating many opportunities for musicians."
