"We invested in Mimica because the founding team has a terrific combination of deep technical expertise in building AI systems, and a thorough understanding of the challenges faced by an enterprise when managing processes."
SFC Capital has backed the Imperial College London spinout to fund prototype development and pilot deployment.
"Honeycomb Network represented a timely investment opportunity for SFC Capital to get ahead in the booming micromobility market. This investment will play a pivotal role in the next big milestones for the company; enabling the final development of their first fully working prototype locker and increasing capacity to engage with multinational supermarkets, retail parks and local councils to discuss the future installation of the units citywide. We are very much looking forward to seeing them grow and supporting their journey."
The Manchester-based car rental platform secured £534k from DSW Ventures and angel investor Harry Dixon to fund European expansion and team growth.
"The online car rental market is ripe for disruption. Stressfreecarrental.com offers a fresh approach and we believe it is well-placed to achieve significant scale. The business has already gained considerable traction, despite restrictions on travel, and this round will support its further development and growth."

The financing round was led by Next47 with participation from Partech, pushing the company valuation to $100m.

As labour shortages hit industries with historically high staff turnover, such as healthcare, it’s clear that wages aren’t the only factor driving employees away. Using Blink has become a competitive advantage in the battle for talent, with organizations using the app to attract and retain their frontline workforce."
