Octopus Ventures backed the London-based talent assessment software provider in a Series A round.
"I am delighted to continue our journey with Octopus Ventures which from the outset, shared our vision to help customers digitise and make fairer, more effective decisions about talent. At a time when organisations are facing significant talent challenges, whether that’s COVID, skills shortages, the impact of technology on jobs or upskilling the workforce, it’s clear that legacy approaches are no longer fit for purpose. Our enterprise assessment platform helps customers make better decisions about talent without compromising fairness, efficiency or candidate experience."
Seedcamp led the oversubscribed round alongside existing investors IQ Capital and Playfair Capital.
"Our studio has naturally wanted to transition over the years into being worldbuilding-led so it could not be better timing seeing a new audience emerge that is looking for immersive game-like experiences where they own parts of the universes they love. At Cauldron we have a history of working in markets where we know our art and emotive storytelling can have a dramatic impact and we are seeing the rising base of Web3 players yearning for more."
Speedinvest, Seedcamp and Credo backed the seed round, which will fund team expansion and regulatory approvals.
"The crypto industry as a whole is still in its infancy. We believe that by bringing crypto platforms into a single body under the Fiat Republic Consortium, we can increase our collective standing with regulators and enhance our leverage with big banks, who, until now, have dictated the terms of access to fiat based on harsh internal risk policies, often conceived mainly out of fear of the unknown. By creating an API that facilitates seamless data exchange between both traditional and crypto players, we believe we can foster transparency and better understanding between both sides, which in the future will benefit the whole."
San Francisco-based Trucks VC has backed the London electric scooter brand to fund its expansion into the US market.
"Lack of proper regulation is dangerous for the UK public and frustrating for us. However, we've had incredible market traction in the US and we're excited to be launching in Los Angeles."
Permira led the Series B financing round for the London headquartered audience insights technology provider.
"Companies today need an instantaneous view of their audience everywhere in the world. The traditional approach of market research is not fit for purpose – too slow, incredibly expensive, and lacks the scale and detail needed. Our technology has solved this problem and the result has been incredible growth over the last three years. We can’t wait to work with Permira on our five-year goal to put audience insights in the workflow of every professional"
