Trumpet secures £1.6m in pre-seed funding led by Lightbird Ventures to scale its sales platform.
Lightbird Ventures led the pre-seed round, which will fund team expansion as the company addresses strong demand from enterprise clients.
Trumpet builds a collaborative digital sales platform that replaces traditional PDF decks with personalised microsites. The London-based company streamlines buyer journeys from initial pitch through to close.
London-based B2B sales startup trumpet has raised £1.6m in a pre-seed funding round led by Lightbird Ventures. The round saw participation from Triple Point Ventures, Haatch, Anamcara Capital, and several high-profile operators from Loom, Cognism and Reachdesk. The capital will be deployed to expand engineering, marketing and commercial operations as the company prepares for global growth and works through a substantial customer waitlist.
The firm offers a platform enabling sales professionals to build personalised microsites, or Pods, equipped with real-time analytics and communication tools. Founded by industry veterans from Hotjar and DesignMyNight, trumpet aims to reduce administrative burdens and accelerate sales cycles.
From the founder
"We’re very excited to announce this new funding as we embark on the next stage of our growth journey. Having personally experienced the pains of designing and personalising countless sales assets and navigating complex buyer journeys throughout my career, I’m confident trumpet is the answer to these industry-wide problems. The platform provides salespeople with a no-code solution to create live, centralised and personalised microsites which can be used across the entire sales cycle. This seamless experience speeds up, and optimises buyer journeys whilst reducing the growing amount of admin salespeople are faced with. Covid-19 accelerated digital transformation like never before and we are well-positioned to provide the perfect tool to help stimulate a digital shift in B2B sales and the initial data coming out of the Beta is extremely exciting."
