Playter secures £45m Series A funding led by Adit Venture Capital and Fasanara Capital to support expansion

Playter has secured £45m in a Series A funding round comprising equity and debt. The investment was led by Adit Venture Capital and Fasanara Capital, with backing from investors associated with Klarna, SoFi and Pipe. The company intends to direct the capital toward expansion within the UK market alongside preparations for future international growth.
Operating a subscription model within business lending, Playter offers non-dilutive, interest-free financing that allows small and medium enterprises to spread payments over several months while ensuring suppliers receive payment within a day. The fresh capital arrives shortly after a seed round earlier in the year as the firm scales its platform amid tightening macroeconomic conditions.
