"We’re pleased to have backed CanSense during this investment round with equity support. Their testing technology shows huge potential, with benefits for NHS backlogs if adopted widely, and we’re glad to support the work of this company as it brings its expertise to Wales’ increasingly strong med-tech sector."
The pre-seed round was backed by Antler, Fuel Ventures, ScaleX and Logo Ventures to help drive team growth and new market entry.
"We believe the future of sales is driven by digital experiences that enable buyers. As competition increases, teams are forced to differentiate not only with the service they provide but also with the way they sell. Helping buyers make informed decisions is the new definition of success and sadly, email threads no longer achieve this. This funding will allow us to realise our ambition to build the de facto medium where B2B sales happens."
The Didsbury startup secured its third fundraise from a mix of new and existing angels.
"It’s a really important fundraise for My First Five Years. We’re two years old as a business and 2023 is a critical year for us as we demonstrate market traction and proof that parents are willing to pay for the app."
The financing round was led by Kobalt Music founder Willard Ahdritz with participation from Best Nights VC and other investors.
"Great tools that make an artist's life easier is exactly what's needed and I believe un:hurd will become an essential partner to independent artists around the world. The seed round was led by Techstart with participation from international funds and angel investors.
"We are proud of the partners we have brought on board during this funding round, because they are dedicated to supporting us in our mission to eradicate single-use plastic waste. With this funding, we are building tools that will help businesses create sustainable packaging strategies to meet changing customer demands, legal requirements, and show the economic return that reusable packaging can generate. Our goal is to show businesses that environmental choices are also economic ones and this funding is a crucial step towards that goal."
