Maven Capital Partners backed the follow-on financing round to support US expansion.
Zing is a specialist Twilio consulting partner that builds exclusively on the Twilio stack to help organisations deliver enhanced customer experiences. The company provides a proprietary quick build platform to accelerate implementations while maintaining code control.
Zing Dev has secured £1.3m in a seed follow-on investment from existing backer Maven Capital Partners. The funding will enable the consultancy to establish a dedicated US operating entity and execute its go-to-market strategy as demand for conversational intelligence accelerates.
Established in 2022 following a spin-out from ProspectSoft, the firm has expanded its footprint globally, supporting over 100 clients including Age UK and Oxfam. The latest capital injection comes as organisations increasingly seek specialised expertise to deploy AI-driven customer service tools.
Maven Capital Partners, which backed the initial spin-out, has maintained its support for the consultancy. The investment coincides with rising interest in automated contact centre technologies and cloud communications infrastructure.
From the founder
"With conversational AI and virtual assistant technologies projected to fuel a 24% growth in the contact center market in 2024 (Gartner), this is a key moment for CX innovation. These new technologies can provide massive benefits, but they must be deployed and used in the right ways. We’ve built a business on ensuring that they are,"

CEO at Zing Dev
Investor perspective
"Following our initial investment in the spin-out, Zing is now at the forefront of enabling organizations worldwide to get the most out of cutting-edge cloud communications technology. The surge in demand for its expertise in the US underscores how essential it is as a communications software partner for thousands of businesses. We look forward to working with Julian and the team to build on the company’s success as it continues to grow globally."
