Zing raises £1.3m from Maven Capital Partners to fund US expansion
Maven Capital Partners backs the Twilio consultancy as it targets growth across the American market.
Zing is a UK-based technology consultancy specialising in the Twilio platform and helping organisations deploy customer engagement software.
Zing has secured £1.3m in fresh capital from existing backer Maven Capital Partners to fund its expansion into the United States. The consultancy plans to establish a dedicated American operating entity and accelerate its go-to-market strategy as demand grows for its artificial intelligence and Twilio integration expertise.
Founded in 2022 following a spin-out from ProspectSoft, the company builds exclusively on the Twilio stack and has supported over 100 clients globally, including Age UK and Oxfam. Chief executive Julian Hucker leads the firm as it positions itself to capture increasing interest in conversational artificial intelligence tools.
From the founder
"Organisations are increasingly seeking to leverage cutting-edge technologies to enhance customer experience (CX) and operational efficiencies, particularly within their contact centers. Twilio Flex’s CustomerAI technology is transformative, reducing agents’ workloads and streamlining workflows through such things as AI-driven post-work automated summaries, and real-time customer sentiment analysis."

Investor perspective
"Following our initial investment in the spin-out, Zing is now at the forefront of enabling organizations worldwide to get the most out of cutting-edge cloud communications technology. The surge in demand for its expertise in the US underscores how essential it is as a communications software partner for thousands of businesses. We look forward to working with Julian and the team to build on the company’s success as it continues to grow globally."
