The London startup secured the Series A financing from backers including JamJar Investments, Tom Blomfield and Jägermeister to scale its venue technology across Europe.
"By unifying all of the brands under ChargedUp, we believe we can empower consumers and the trade through a full suite of digital solutions."
The Series C round was led by Chrysalis Investments and Arete Capital Partners to support international expansion and product development.
"Our acquisition of Clicksit marks an important milestone in the company’s rapid expansion journey. Returns is, now more than ever, a crucial step in the ecommerce customer journey, and we are excited to power returns innovation as part of our full Delivery Experience Platform."
The cleantech start-up will use the capital to expand its team, develop new products and reach more customers.
"This funding round further strengthens our collaboration with bp, Goldacre and Aston University, who have shown equal ambitions in accelerating the growth of Grid Edge. Optimising energy demand to reach net zero is now an essential requirement for businesses. We are proud to provide many leading companies with predictive AI technology to reduce energy consumption and save money."
The Seed round was backed by Link Venture Capital and prominent industry angels to scale smart EV charging comparisons.
"We want to empower the everyday person to choose electric by making EV charging easier, cleaner, cheaper and more accessible. To date we’ve helped over 10,000 drivers to find their installer or energy supplier but we’re just scratching the surface. Around 10-15 million more drivers will go electric by 2030 in the UK alone and the new investment means we are ready to support all automotive retailers who are looking for a charging partner that can deliver industry-leading customer experience."
