Antler led the seed round with participation from notable angel investors to support platform development.
"As one of the world’s most active early-stage investors, we are typically the first money in and continue our support with investments up to Series C. We invest in only 1% of more than 50,000 founders we meet annually and currently have 40+ companies in our UK portfolio. We were impressed early on by the drive of Mast’s co-founders, who instantly stood out. After backing the team with their first investment, we are thrilled to lead this next round as well. The broader participation of other great investors is further validation that there is significant support around applying deep industry experience and new technologies to solve this decades-old problem in lending."
NoBa Capital led the pre-Series A round, which will fund product innovation, marketing, and entry into new markets.
"This fundraise means a lot. It is validation that what we are building is solving a genuine and far-reaching problem which, for too long, has been left unaddressed."
Velocity and Arab Bank Ventures backed the Series A round to support the company's global expansion.
"Accessing finance for their clients is one of the key issues facing advisors. Finance is data-driven and borderless. With the influx of new lenders into the market, Swoop is able to connect SMEs and advisors with the funding they need wherever they are in the world. To date we’ve helped our businesses secure £500m to grow their businesses."
Archangels has backed Earth Blox in a £1.5m seed round to support product development and market expansion.
"We are very pleased to secure this funding from Archangels and join a strong portfolio of businesses in the life sciences and tech sectors. Investment into innovative businesses like ours is vital to growth in all areas, from customer acquisition to building a great team. This investment will help us develop Earth Blox as a scalable SaaS and get the power of Earth observation insights into the hands of a range of users around the world."
The Series A round was led by ACT Venture Partners and SuperSeed to scale operations and product development.
"We were thrilled with the team’s achievements in developing and validating their platform with leading global customers from the automotive, aerospace, energy and construction sectors. Ai Build’s clear vision to enable faster, repeatable and sustainable additive manufacturing through AI and automation is a game changer in scaling production, and making Ai Build the default operating system for all additive machines will be key in their growth strategy"
