"We believe that Crowdcube’s focus on the B Corp movement was really powerful in convincing their community of investors and entrepreneurs to invest in Artfinder. It is an honour for us to be serving such a great community and also to have so many of our artists and customers on board as our shareholders, engaging all our stakeholders in the business."
The London-based edtech startup secured the Series A extension to support growing university demand.
"BibliU has seen rapid growth across the globe over the last few months, and we believe COVID has pulled the transition to digital learning forward by at least 5 years. We have always existed to assist universities with this transition, by providing an unmatched student experience in a cost-effective way. BibliU is the perfect intersection for universities that are looking to create a seamless distance-learning experience, and do so in a way that introduces operational efficiencies to their workflows. We’re thrilled that AIN was able to assist us in this rapid extension to our Series A, and are excited to see where this round takes us."
The Series A round was led by Octopus Ventures with participation from Clocktower Technology Ventures, Speedinvest, Seedcamp and Finch Capital.
"We see a huge amount of potential in launching TaxScouts into Spain. Naturally, the weather and the wine were considered when picking the market, but having successfully built a solution for one of the trickiest tax systems in Europe, we are confident that we can deliver another great product for Spain’s complex tax structure. The market is double that of the UK, and this is the first step to us building a Pan-European tax service. We will build the go-to solution for anyone across Europe to easily file their tax return regardless of its complexity. This investment will enable us to quickly scale up a team to support our new Country Manager in Madrid, and launch other new products in the UK."
The investment from BGF will support the digital agency's plans for strategic acquisitions and organic growth.
"We are extremely excited to be partnering with BGF through this investment. The Kagool team has a huge amount of energy for the next phase of growth, having excelled in recent years in our mission to be one of the best Sitecore agencies in the UK. BGF’s track record working with other technology entrepreneurs makes them the perfect match for the next phase of our journey."
The round was led by Valo Ventures with support from Connect Ventures.
"There’s never been a greater need to effectively train, inform and engage your workforce, and technology now allows us to do so seamlessly, regardless of where people perform their work. I’m also excited to welcome Valo Ventures as investors in EduMe. They have a genuine appreciation for this paradigm shift in the modern workforce, and their global network with a base in Silicon Valley makes them the perfect partner for EduMe. This investment will allow us to continue to invest into a unique product proposition that seamlessly combines mobile-first training, information and engagement to empower the modern workforce."
