B-Secur develops advanced ECG and EKG technology for consumer and medical devices. Its flagship HeartKey algorithms provide medical-grade monitoring capabilities for wearable technology.
Belfast health tech firm B-Secur has secured £1.5m in a Series A follow on investment round completed in August 2020. The funding was provided by returning backers Kernel Capital, Accelerated Digital Ventures, and Wharton Asset Management, alongside new investor Clarendon Fund Managers.
The capital will be deployed to fulfil recent contracts secured with international clients in the core technology wearables market. B-Secur currently employs more than 35 scientists and engineers in Belfast and plans to recruit additional personnel locally as well as engineering staff in customer regions such as the United States and China.
