BGF has backed the Wakefield-based transport management software provider in a Series A round.
A Wakefield-based technology business providing transport management and eProcurement software for the NHS, local authorities, and private providers. Its digital platform coordinates patient and home-to-school transport as well as social prescribing services.
Wakefield-based technology company 365 Response has secured £3m in Series A funding from BGF. The capital will be deployed to accelerate product development and scale up the firm's commercial and operational teams.
Led by founder and chief executive Sarah Fatchett, the company provides digital transport management and eProcurement software to NHS trusts, local government, and private transport providers. Its platform supports critical logistics for vulnerable citizens, including home-to-school transport and social prescribing.
The transaction was completed virtually, with BGF completing the investment following initial meetings held before lockdown measures were introduced.
From the founder
"When we started the business there were clear gaps in how special needs schools and hospitals were managing transport services. Our business is based on getting care to people who need it as quickly and efficiently as possible and this investment is going to fast track the roll out of our technology while also expanding the team to make that vision a reality. BGF clearly understood our mission and the pressing need for a technology-based solution to make specialist transport services as efficient as possible."
