The funding round was led by Planet A with participation from several institutional investors and angels.
"AUAR is building a global, automated construction ecosystem for sustainable, affordable, and beautiful homes at scale, designed to plug into the way builders already work. By enabling the industry to build together, powered by robotics and artificial intelligence, we’re not just offering a new tool – we’re unlocking new possibilities for how homebuilders can grow, innovate, and deliver at scale."
The fintech startup is now launching a community crowdfunding campaign on Crowdcube to turn users into shareholders.
"While our earlier rounds were critical, this crowdfunding campaign goes beyond just raising capital – it’s about ownership. We’re empowering the very people we serve to become part of the solution."
The investment values the Dublin fintech at $290m and supports its push into the Japanese market.
"Asia is a fragmented and under-penetrated market from a payments perspective. Global gateway providers underserve merchants looking to expand into Asia Pacific. Local acquiring and alternative payment methods often require extensive DIY work. While orchestration platforms have simplified integration, the underlying complexity remains immense."
The investment follows the recent launch of a more powerful version of the company cybersecurity platform.
"Mercia has in-depth experience in the cybersecurity sector, and we are proud to have played a key role in the success of Melius CyberSafe. Traditional cybersecurity is beyond the reach of many small firms due to the high cost but CyberSafe helps to solve this problem by automating key processes. With businesses under attack from criminal gangs and hostile states, the need for it is arguably greater than ever."
Technology investment firm Accel-KKR has backed home care software provider CareLineLive in a majority deal.
"Our vision has always been to make homecare better for everyone through the use of technology – for providers, carers and clients. This investment helps bring that future closer. Accel-KKR’s long track record of helping software companies grow is what I am most excited about. Their experience and resources will help us to grow our team, enhance our product, and deliver even more value to our customers. A portion of the funding will be used to establish a customer support presence in Australia, enabling round-the-clock service. As our UK team finishes for the day, the Australia team will begin – meaning we’ll be able to support customers at any time of day."
