The pricing software provider has raised £750k from backers including Nauta Capital and ACF Investors to expand its market presence.
"In a world where retailers are competing against Amazon and their army of data scientists, we are effectively bringing Amazon-style pricing capabilities to the small and medium-sized market. We support retailers through the whole pricing journey, from businesses that are just starting out to more experienced e-commerce brands."
The funding round was led by Crossbeam Venture Partners and General Global Capital.
"Threecolts’ impressive execution over the past year means that sellers can now access a one-stop shop solution for an increasing number of pain points, easing vendor fatigue and administrative loads. Yoda and team have provided returns that are realized in quick feedback loops for customers of all shapes and sizes, from large enterprises to up-and-coming businesses."
The oversubscribed round was led by Playfair Capital with backing from multiple institutional investors and angel backers.
"James and Hector have been really engaged since I appeared on the podcast and it made sense to invite them into what was a highly competitive round due to their network, experience and willingness to help and support."
Seneca Partners backed the retail technology company through its EIS Portfolio Fund and Growth Capital VCT.
"We have been very impressed by the progress that HubBox has made to date and the global scale up potential of the product. Sam Jarvis, CEO, and the team have worked closely with the major global delivery networks to provide this software solution to the market, something that we believe has the potential to address the growing problem of increasing last mile cost and inefficiencies. Whilst the product itself is far from simple, we were attracted to the very clear use cases, the lack of true competition and the enormous underserved end market."
