AlbionVC led the £18.3m Series A round, which will fund expansion across new treatment areas and clinical capabilities.
"Patients now expect the same convenience from healthcare that they get from banking or shopping—instant, mobile, on their terms. The technology exists to deliver this for minor conditions, but our system is still stuck requiring appointments, phone calls, physical visits – with no capacity for smart aftercare. We want to solve this, and scale the infrastructure that matches how people actually want to access care in 2026."
— Oskar Wenbar, Chief Medical Officer and co-founder
The oversubscribed round was backed by MMC Ventures, Molten VC, Simplyhealth Ventures, and KHP Ventures.
"Today’s announcement of our heavily oversubscribed investment round is a major endorsement of our incredible technology and our journey to date. We are delighted to see such healthy interest in our vision of revolutionising access to screening from the investment community and we’re thrilled to have Molten Ventures, MMC Ventures, and Simplyhealth Ventures investing. The inclusion of KHP Ventures as a fund backed by NHS institutions is a clear signal of our NHS traction and alignment with overall NHS priorities – we couldn’t be happier that they’re investing in our journey."
MMC Ventures and Hambro Perks led the round to support team growth and international expansion.
"Musculoskeletal health conditions have been a societal problem across the world for decades, and our data shows that rates of pain have massively increased since the rise of hybrid working. With this new funding, we’ll be able to continue our growth to reduce the financial and health costs for employers and their teams."
The investment round was co-led by Aviva Ventures, YZR Capital, Oxford Capital, Triple Point Ventures and Simplyhealth Ventures to fund US expansion and new product development.
"Our investment in Scan.com is a statement of our intent to invest in promising young digital and tech firms – they are growing rapidly, have a unique customer proposition and are already leading the way on medical imaging services in the UK. We are really excited to support Scan.com’s development and growth."
The extension round was led by Forward Partners and MMC Ventures to support ongoing growth.
"We are excited to announce this investment which is a huge statement of confidence from our investors that we have a unique approach to solving a major global problem in healthcare – how to truly increase access and treat people faster, without adding further burden onto clinicians. We are thrilled to add Simplyhealth Ventures and look forward to working with them as we look forward to growing in the UK and beyond in the next 12 months."
