The funding round forms part of a wider £20m financing package to accelerate the deployment of the HotSat constellation.

The pre-series A round was led by Amadeus Capital Partners, Expeditions Fund, and IQ Capital.

The round was led by Join Capital with participation from IQ Capital, Northern Gritstone, Seraphim, Episode 1 and Schauenburg Ventures to fund global growth and product development.

The oversubscribed seed round was led by Seraphim Capital and will finance the construction of the company's inaugural satellite.

We’ve backed Satellite Vu because it alone has the technology to address all these issues and make high resolution infrared the next major category of Space data."
The investment concludes the company's Series A round and was backed by Octopus Ventures and Seraphim Capital.
