The British Business Bank and the Sovereign AI Fund have backed the artificial intelligence developer in a record-setting seed round.

The round was co-led by Eclipse, Balderton and SoftBank Vision Fund 2.

The upcoming raise follows the company's decision to decline a multibillion pound acquisition offer from Adobe.
