London-based biotechnology company Basecamp Research has secured $140m in a Series C funding round that pushes its valuation to $800m. The oversubscribed financing was led by S32 and drew participation from an array of new and existing backers, including Nvidia, Singular, True Ventures, and the NATO Innovation Fund. Basecamp will direct the capital toward training its EDEN biological foundation models and developing in vivo cell therapies designed to edit DNA directly within patients.
