Nscale secures $2bn in a Series C funding round led by Aker ASA and 8090 Industries
The capital will be used to expand the AI infrastructure platform globally and grow internal teams.
London-based Nscale builds vertically integrated AI infrastructure platforms combining GPU computing, networking, and data services for enterprise workloads.
Nscale has secured $2bn in a Series C funding round led by Aker ASA and 8090 Industries, valuing the business at $14.6bn. Additional participants in the round include Astra Capital Management, Citadel, Dell, Jane Street, Lenovo, Linden Advisors, Nokia, NVIDIA, and Point72.
The capital will be deployed to expand the company footprint across Europe, North America, and Asia, grow engineering and operations teams, and strengthen its platform capabilities for large-scale AI deployments. The announcement follows a $1.4bn debt financing backed by GPUs secured a few weeks prior.
Alongside the funding, Nscale integrated its Aker Nscale joint venture and appointed Sheryl Sandberg, Susan Decker, and Nick Clegg to its board of directors.
