Breega is an international venture capital firm with over €600m in assets under management that invests in pioneering and purpose-driven founders from pre-seed to Series A and beyond.
The seed financing was led by Breega and Connect Ventures to support team expansion ahead of market rollout.
"It is more important than ever that we change our relationship with money – to take the fear away from ‘healthy’ debt and bring a strong dose of wellness into our finances. By leveraging new technology never used before in a credit card, we are proud to have created an app designed to change the future of finance for the next generation. We are thrilled to have the support of incredible investors in bringing Keebo’s vision of personalised credit to life."
The seed round was led by Creandum to fund further customer growth and product development.
"We know from speaking to our users that one of the biggest challenges they face is the ability to manage their payment-related admin tasks effectively and efficiently, whilst also growing their services and attracting more customers. At a time when the self-employed are already taking a hit due to the pandemic, reducing the cost of getting paid and making the process much faster is becoming increasingly important."
BurdaPrincipal Investments has participated in a Series C funding round for the UK saving and investing app alongside existing backers.
"While BPI has a clear focus on marketplaces and platforms, we expanded our focus into the fintech industry by concentrating on business models that require no or a minimum of regulated equity amount only."
The Series C financing was co-led by Eight Roads and CNP and will support product development and team expansion.
"We’re really pleased to have continued support from Eight Roads, and to welcome on board new investors CNP and Breega as we work to further execute on our mission of helping everyone save and invest for their future. Securing this funding enables us to continue to build the products, tools and technology to help people achieve their goals easily – whether it’s buying a house, saving for retirement or just a rainy day."
