HydrogenOne Capital Growth led the Series B round with support from IP Group, Parkwalk Advisors, BGF, and the UCL Technology Fund.
"Hydrogen, through its green production from electrolysis or its use in fuel cells to provide clean power, is critical for the transition to net zero. Bramble Energy brings a fundamentally different approach to these technologies, unlocking the deployment of hydrogen faster, more flexibly and at scale. We are delighted to contribute substantially to this significant funding round which will take Bramble to the next stage."
The investment was led by BGF and Parkwalk to support pre-clinical work, clinical trials, and regulatory approval.
"There are over three million dialysis patients worldwide and every year patients undergo nearly 650,000 surgical AVF creation procedures. However, these procedures take a long time to heal and are prone to failure. Our technology has the power to significantly improve the outcomes for dialysis patients, improving their quality of life and saving millions of pounds in the process. We are delighted to have the support of BGF and Parkwalk to help the business move forward with our clinical trials and ultimately roll-out this ground-breaking product to a global market."
The investment from BGF will be used to accelerate product development and international growth.
"At KYND, we are on a mission to provide the increasingly-vital cyber risk management tools to radically simplify and improve the cyber insurance process. Our industry-first API-based platform, which provides meaningful risk insights, is making the cyber-insurance market more efficient and well-equipped to deal with the deluge of attacks facing small and mid-market companies."
BGF has backed the Preston-based hybrid cloud provider in a deal that sees Harry Jones join the board.
"In the last 19 years we have achieved sustained business growth and critical acclaim, by diversifying from provision of enterprise infrastructure to a cloud and managed services specialist across both public and private sectors."
