Celerity secures £15m from BGF to scale IT managed services.
BGF has backed the Preston-based hybrid cloud provider in a deal that sees Harry Jones join the board.
Celerity is a hybrid cloud and IT managed services provider based in Preston. The firm guides organisations through digital transformation and infrastructure optimisation.
Celerity has secured £15m in growth private equity funding from BGF. The capital will enable management to scale the company's managed service proposition and proprietary IP.
The Preston-headquartered firm specialises in complex hybrid cloud solutions, cyber security, and data recovery across public and private sectors. BGF's investment follows a period of rapid expansion driven by major contract wins.
Alongside the funding, Phil Male joins the Celerity board as non-executive chair, while Harry Jones takes up a board seat for BGF.
