"This investment recognises that with powerful real-time software solutions underpinning our emerging green energy systems, tackling the world’s greatest threat of climate change can also become the world’s greatest commercial opportunity. Barclays shares our vision and has a broad customer base in the UK and internationally, which includes many energy businesses. I am looking forward to working with them to help achieve our ambitious goals."
Basinghall Partners led the Series A round to support product development and team expansion.
"There’s tremendous potential in helping organisations digitise their private capital raising and distribution activities, with current conditions accelerating the trend towards the digitisation of all transactions end-to-end. We are delighted that our investors are seeing the significant opportunity to transform private financing globally."
The Series A round was led by Cogito Capital Partners with backing from Barclays.
"The financial backing and domain expertise of Cogito and Barclays will help us execute our strategy and strengthen Applica’s presence in the US market."
