The financing round was backed by Maven Capital Partners, YFM Equity Partners, Triple Point Ventures, and regional funds to support US growth.
"Drug discovery is so exciting right now, as there are just so many incredible companies working on remarkable new therapeutics. Equally, we are at a time where there is a stupendous amount of untapped evidence, like cause-and-effect, sat dark and subsequently unused by these same companies. Our mission at Biorelate is to capture this untapped data and help them make sense of it. With this improved understanding we are empowering these companies to make better decisions and speed up the drug discovery process."
YFM Equity Partners backed the latest round to fund international growth and software rollout.
"It’s been a pleasure to support Wooshii on its exciting journey over the past three years, during which time the company has gone from strength to strength. Our latest investment will enable Wooshi to expand its US operation and rollout its innovative video insight software, both of which have the potential to scale the business even more rapidly."
The financing was co-led by Radical Ventures and Temasek to fuel expansion in the United States.
"The next generation of software won’t run on code, it will run on models fueled by training data. We let our clients easily turn human knowledge into AI models, improving the safety and accuracy of AI. This is incredibly powerful, and in the right hands, can literally save lives. If we want to build software that tackles unsolved frontiers in human health, or our climate, this is the only way"
The round was led by Guinness Ventures with participation from Beaubridge, Juno Capital Partners, Qatar Science and Tech Holdings, and Celeres Ventures.
"Given that human capital costs are almost always one of the highest outgoing expenses in any business, not having a highly trained workforce who have easy access to the information they need to upskill fast is costing enterprises hundreds of millions of dollars every year and limiting their growth potential."
