"We are thrilled to have our new investors on board. The Vitesse team have built an incredibly strong and highly regulated platform, supported by our own global payment network and treasury capability, and we have successfully shown the value of these assets to our fast-expanding customer base. We have strong ambitions to grow and to continue our success with a strong focus on the insurance market."
Nigel Wray and Deborah Okenla participated in the pre-seed round for the dog training software provider.
"I’m absolutely delighted we’ve secured this funding from some of the UK’s top Angel investors. They are people who I’ve admired for a long time and who now are helping me build this business. We are delighted that they see the scope of the opportunity, and what to come on the journey. It’s our mission to be the most dog trainer, and dog owner friendly software company on the planet, and to solve the huge issues facing the training world today. Together I believe we can do it."
Buoyant Ventures led the Series A round to fund international expansion and close the flood protection gap.
"This investment is an endorsement of our parametric cover and how we’re using it to solve real-world issues. The group of investors for the round couldn’t be better tailored to supporting our efforts in solving the issues around underinsurance in the face of climate change."
The maiden investment round was backed by the British Design Fund and angel investors including Tom Blomfield.
"This funding is not only a huge vote of confidence in PEEQUAL but also a big moment for pee equality the world over. We want PEEQUAL to empower women to take back their time and break the taboo around female urination. We are building a team to bring our urinals to festivals, sporting events, outdoor shows and more. We’re really proud to be changing the way women pee, and doing it in a safe way which reduces time spent in queues."
