"Our mental healthcare industry is in crisis. The demand for services is growing, while the supply of skilled professionals is dwindling. Our mission at Nolea Health is to create a revolutionary platform that will change how healthcare providers find talent and healthcare professionals find jobs. With our innovative approach, we believe we can make a real difference in this area and successfully address the urgent issue of staff shortages."
Yield Lab Europe led the pre-Series A round, which will fund international expansion and team growth.
"We’ve spent the past 18 months developing our platform and validating peptide candidates with expert third parties and commercial partners. We’re really excited by the results and feel that we’re ready to take the next step towards commercialising our technology. With the issue of food security, and effective crop protection becoming an increasingly pressing issue for the agriculture industry and governments worldwide, there is an urgent need for sustainable environmentally-friendly alternatives to current synthetic pesticides. We’re confident that our technology provides the solution and has the potential to make a huge impact."
The financing package includes equity and debt from backers including Original Capital and SoftBank Vision Fund 2.
"Sustainability and reducing costs are paramount concerns for our clients today. In the aftermath of Covid there has been a pincer movement of inflation and climate pressures on businesses, leading to widespread concern over the cost and carbon emissions of owning and operating commercial buildings,"
Zip World contributed £250k to the round as the booking platform prepares for international expansion.
"It’s fantastic to have support from Zip World given their position and standing in tourism. Both our businesses are ambitious and forward thinking so it’s a great match. It also gives us an incredible wealth of experience and business acumen to tap into at Zip World."
