Guest Dragon Susie Ma backed the parent discount platform for a 10% stake following a televised pitch.
"Securing investment from Susie is a huge moment for us and for Cubbi. We built this platform because we lived the reality of trying to make maternity pay stretch while still wanting to give our children the best start in life. This backing means we can reach more parents, bring more meaningful savings onto the platform and continue building something that genuinely supports families at a time when they’re under so much financial pressure. Standing in the Den and pitching Cubbi while pregnant was incredibly personal for me. Parenthood is one of the most joyful but financially vulnerable stages of life, and having that recognised and backed on such a big platform meant so much. This investment allows us to turn that recognition into real, practical support for thousands more families."
The pre-seed round backs the social platform as it opens an institutional seed round.
"The fact that angels, friends and family invested in Luupli before we had traction speaks volumes about the belief in our mission. “We’re building a platform where collaboration—not competition—drives discovery and income. We invite investors to help us democratize the creator economy for the $480‑billion market ahead."
MOLO has closed a pre-seed round in partnership with FounderCatalyst to support its family management platform.
"MOLO was built from lived experience and deep research into how modern families actually function under pressure. This raise allows us to keep building a support system that feels personal, proactive, and genuinely helpful, not another thing for parents to manage."
The Manchester based startup will use the capital for product development and distribution research.
"SmartyPlants began with a simple idea: plant care should be intuitive, not intimidating. People want their plants to thrive, but they often don’t have the tools or information to make that easy. Our technology is designed to help users gain clarity and confidence, so they can enjoy their plants rather than worry about them."
