Manchester based technology startup SmartyPlants has secured £190k in funding from the British Design Fund to advance its smart sensor system for house plants. Founded in 2023, the company provides real time monitoring for soil moisture, light, temperature, humidity, and nutrients.
The fresh capital will be directed towards product development and exploratory work, including early research into potential domestic and international distribution opportunities.
