The London-based startup secured the capital from backers including Seedcamp and Brighteye Ventures to scale its team and product offerings.

"Think of someone digging a hole (excavating). Sounds simple, but hit a high-pressure pipeline and you’ve got fatal consequences. It’s a dangerous task – so how is it taught? In a classroom, with a 20-question written assessment. This is clearly ridiculous. It’s situations like this – and their larger-scale impact – that we’ve set out to change."
— Kane St Quintin, Founder and CEO

The funding round was supported by angel network Lifted Ventures to help scale the platform and grow its partner network.

"We are thrilled to have closed a successful funding round with the support of Lifted Ventures. The adventure sports industry is a very exciting space, and Adventuro is poised to be a real game-changer. We are growing a community of people who love adventure sports as much as we do, and providing a space for those just starting out, as well as those who are looking to develop their skills and take up adventure sports coaching as a career. As a mixed founding team, we are delighted that working with Lifted Ventures on this raise has helped us to build a group of shareholders of which 42% are female – something quite rare in both the funding ecosystem, and the adventure sports industry."
— Kate Hawker, Co-founder and Chief Operating Officer
Series A
£11.0M

The Series A round was led by Balderton Capital to support product development and international expansion.

"Road transport is the backbone of European commerce and there’s no reason why it should be run on decades-old software. We’re proud that we can offer a secure cloud-based solution, with AI-based automation in an affordable subscription model that has helped our customers drive efficiencies in their business. Qargo is processing tens of millions in revenue and has become a true partner to the transport companies which are the backbone of many sectors. We’re delighted to partner with Balderton to power our growth and look forward to taking Qargo to the next level."
— Adriaan Coppens, Co-founder and CEO
