Ameba secures £5.3m in seed funding led by Hedosophia to fuel international and sector expansion.
Hedosophia led the seed round with participation from Visionaries Club and Anamcara to support expansion into new territories.
Ameba provides an AI-powered platform that gives brands real-time insights into their global supply chains. The system automates data extraction from multiple sources to create a single source of truth for inventory management.
Ameba has secured £5.3m in a seed funding round led by Hedosophia. The capital injection also drew participation from Anamcara alongside returning backer Visionaries Club, which previously led the company pre-seed round.
Founded by Cedrik Hoffmann and Craig Massie, Ameba applies artificial intelligence to existing software architectures to automate data extraction from channels such as email, WhatsApp, and spreadsheets. The resulting platform delivers real-time visibility into complex international supply chains.
The fresh funding will be deployed to support expansion into new industry sectors and geographic territories, with a particular focus on fashion and textiles.
From the founder
"Brands today face intense pressure to meet rapid shifts in consumer trends while delivering on expectations for fast, low-cost, and sustainable supply chains. Many of the biggest names in fashion still manage their supply chain data on Excel and communicate with suppliers via email or WhatsApp. We want to transform customers’ operations while meeting them where they are today. With Ameba, we’re turning supply chains from bottlenecks into engines of growth."
