ACF Investors backed the UK aircraft seating manufacturer to support team expansion and production research.
"Chris is a proven leader in the airline interiors industry, and his track record in founding and scaling aircraft seating businesses is second to none. We’re excited to back a true industry innovator, one that prioritises sustainability and customer comfort and is delivering such an exceptional product."
The London-based cloud security firm has raised £3.9m in a seed round led by Accel to expand its engineering team and product offering.
"Our mission at Tracebit is to accelerate the mass adoption of threat deception for enterprises everywhere, and to reduce the mean time for detecting an intruder from months to minutes. Honeypots are one of the biggest deterrents to cyber attacks, but have been underused for too long due to their cost and complexity. This funding will help us bring threat deception to enterprises that haven’t felt able to leverage it before."
Google for Startups and a syndicate of impact investors backed the round to help the firm deploy its conversational AI assistant for frontline workers.
"It's a really exciting time for us. We're absolutely thrilled to have the trust and backing of our investors to solve what is a major crisis – millions of people are not in the workforce or falling out of it entirely. We've seen high employee turnover, in some instances up to 300% and the demand for workers has never been greater. Our technology powers organisations to improve engagement of these individuals by deeply understanding their needs and enabling them to receive better support, resulting in more people accessing and sustaining work,"
Marathon Venture Capital led the seed round to support team expansion and product development.
"Developing a drug remains an expensive and time-consuming process. Unlike other industries, product development in pharmaceuticals relies heavily on numerous experiments with minimal knowledge transfer from past products, driven by the expertise and know-how of scientists. We have witnessed first-hand the inefficiencies of traditional drug development, as well as the growing desire and business need to transform this field. Our vision for PolyModels Hub is to revolutionise how scientists, digital teams, and senior stakeholders collaborate to accelerate development efforts and bring breakthrough therapies to market faster than ever. With today’s advanced technology, supportive business context, and favourable regulatory framework, we believe now is the perfect time to realise this vision."
The oversubscribed round was led by Heartcore Capital with backing from Eka Ventures and angel investors.
"It was a delight to experience such overwhelming interest from investors enthusiastic about the future of flight-free travel when raising our Series A. I’m thrilled that in Heartcore and Eka we’ve found partners who believe in the joy of journey-based holidays and the potential of JourneyAI to change travel for the better,"
