Series B

E.ON Energy Infrastructure Solutions led the Series B first close, supported by Barclays Sustainable Impact Capital.

"The first wave of investment of our Series B round is transformative for our journey and a great step in the wider movement to decarbonise heat."
— Christophe Williams, CEO

The London-based AAA games studio secured backing from HodlCo, FOV Ventures, and prominent tech executives to expand its team and technology.

"This funding will enable us to prove we can redefine game development, and challenge the misconception that AI is here to replace, rather than enhance, human creativity. Our goal is to push the boundaries of interaction and immersion for our players, while making work more interesting and secure for developers. We believe our approach will create more jobs while elevating each individual on a team to have more impact and influence on the game they are making. Our belief is that by harnessing AI, smaller teams can become as efficient as, if not more efficient than, the largest video game developers, allowing them to create dozens of games. We are excited to continue this journey with the support of our new partners."
— John Lusty, Founder and CEO

Steven Bartlett backs Chapter 2 to expand its recruitment platform and global reach.

"I genuinely believe that the recruitment and talent acquisition space is slow, expensive, and ripe for disruption. Attracting and retaining the top 0.1% is harder than ever in a saturated market. As the Global COO of OLIVER Agency, our biggest challenge was retaining the culture and quality we had built while scaling our team, at pace, globally. I quickly realised this was due to the recruitment industry simply not being fit for purpose, and why I founded Chapter 2."
— Leo Harrison, CEO and founder

Octopus Ventures joined returning backer AXA IM Alts in backing the social housing technology provider.

"Switchee has been doubling year on year for the last three consecutive years. We are really proud of the Switchee journey, and the ethics and values we have built in the business are critical to us. We have had some great investor partnerships over the years and are thrilled to see AXA IM Alts further invest in us, and warmly welcome Octopus Ventures as a new investor. It is a sign of their trust in the team’s ability to execute our strategy; and we also see it as a stamp of approval in terms of the impact we are looking to achieve."
— Tom Robins, Chief Executive

The round was led by TX Ventures with participation from several new and existing investors.

"Our view is that within the near-mid term, marketplaces will have to offer trusted payment solutions otherwise they will miss out on new business. Trustap, by providing escrow-like payment options and by lifting the operational burden off the shoulders of marketplaces, offers just that. The product is immensely scalable which is proven by the global presence of clients and the numerous categories Trustap facilitates among buyers and sellers."
— Krzysztof Bialkowski, Managing Partner
