BGF has provided growth capital to support the aircraft seat manufacturer.
"We’ve worked hard to grow Acro and by investing every scrap we’ve made in our staff, products and infrastructure we have managed to double the size of the business every year for the past four years, but we still have ambitious plans. Our partnership with BGF will allow us to bring those plans to life, which is hugely exciting."
The follow-on investment will fund mobile platform development and customer experience improvements following a corporate rebrand.
"We are hugely excited to take the brand forward in a way that communicates our commitment to making home sharing an easy and seamless experience and one which is inspiring too. We are delighted to continue our partnership with Smedvig Capital with this latest round of funding, as we look to the next phase of rapid growth at Veeve."
The funding round was backed by a consortium including Angel Academe, Hambro Perks and Coral Reef.
"Angel Academe should be top of the list for any female founder looking for funding, their network and people are amazing. I hope more women will join them, so they can back more entrepreneurs like me."
London Business Angels and the London Co-Investment Fund backed the mobile payments platform to support sales and technical growth.
"Working with LBA and LCIF has provided us with the investment we need for growth and brings with it well connected investors with a strategic interest. We have already seen the power of our current momentum, signing up four new customers in the UK and US."
