Fluidic Analytics has secured £5.3m in a Series B funding round led by IQ Capital. The company was joined by co-investors including Cambridge Enterprise Seed Funds, Parkwalk Advisors, Draper Esprit, Amadeus Capital Partners, and Cambridge Innovation Capital.
The Cambridge spin-out develops technology for protein characterisation originating from Professor Thomas Knowles at the University of Cambridge. The business intends to deploy the capital to further develop its suite of laboratory research tools targeted at protein quantitation, quantitative immunoassays, and protein interactions.
The round saw strong demand, resulting in the offering being significantly oversubscribed as existing backers increased their stakes in the enterprise.
