The former Apprentice finalist raised the capital from 390 backers in exchange for 5.58% equity.

DatePlay, a gamified dating application based in London, has closed a crowdfunding campaign on Seedrs, raising £219.6k from 390 investors in exchange for 5.58% equity. The campaign surpassed its initial £120k target within three days.
The capital will support the upcoming launch of the iOS application, which integrates gaming mechanics with dating features to generate behavioural insights for user matching. The company has already recorded more than 20,000 sign-ups ahead of its release.
Following the crowdfunding success, DatePlay has been selected to participate in the Mass Challenge accelerator programme to aid its expansion.
